The entrepreneurs and history
The founders of X-MOTIVE are driven by one clear motivation: a deep passion for cars, motorhomes, and customer-focused work. Corné Seldenrijk and Arjen van Beek, two experienced automotive industry entrepreneurs, form the heart of X-MOTIVE.
Corné made his name as the founder of Seldenrijk, a well-established company in the Dutch automotive industry known for its quality and exclusivity. Although he sold the company in 2023, his passion for unique vehicles remains as strong as ever. He is currently involved in various automotive projects, including Donkervoort and GTS Auto.
Arjen has spent his career working in dealer and manufacturer environments both nationally and internationally. He has always held management positions with a strong focus on customer relations and building long-term trust. He was also an independent entrepreneur and owner of several dealerships for many years.
Corné and Arjen share a vision of mobility that focuses on experience, personal contact, and vehicles that enhance customers’ lives. After spending many years working for large organisations, they consciously opted for a smaller-scale, more personalised approach, which is exactly where their energy lies.
Their passion extends beyond cars. They have been involved with motorhomes for many years, too. Arjen is an enthusiastic traveller and Corné is a dealer for various motorhome brands. These shared interests formed the basis of X-MOTIVE, a company founded by people with a passion for cars and motorhomes, and built on the desire to provide a more enjoyable, beautiful and free way of life through mobility.

They both share a passion for motorhomes. Corné is an experienced dealer of various motorhome brands, while Arjen is an avid motorhome user with many years’ experience. It is this shared love that gave rise to the vision of X-MOTIVE: to offer motorhomes that are so much more than just a vehicle, they must offer freedom, adventure and comfort.

Arjen has worked both nationally and internationally for dealers and manufacturers in the automotive industry. His speciality lies in building long-term customer relationships, motivating teams and developing businesses. As a former owner of several car companies, he knows better than anyone how to combine customer focus, results and experience.
